A NOTE FROM BABEL
Regarding DDCA Shorthand
During its decades of research, the DDCA developed an extensive internal shorthand language intended to make recording and communicating behavioral observations more efficient.
It appears no concept was considered too minor to receive one.
BABEL continues to locate, cross-reference, and decipher stacks of these terms throughout the recovered archives. More than 50 are currently in use, with additional specimens surfacing at an uncomfortable rate.
As meanings are confirmed, DDCA Shorthand will be decoded, released, and returned to appropriate use throughout the archive.
We have stopped asking why they did this.
